xda-developers.com - New Team Win Recovery Project version ( 2.6.3.0-13) for the TF101 rolled out

There is a new version of the TWRP out. I actually got no real clue what has changed. Only seeable and mentionable thing is the "custom skin" which is kinda... *cough cough*...  But since the version -11 broguth a nice perfomance boost ( lagfree gui) the version -12 fixed minor bugs of -11. So hopefully the -13er version will not hurt neighter.

How to get the new TWRP 2.6.3.0-13 for the TF101 and how to get it installed pretty easy:
(Please note that it's your own responsibility to proceed further.
I can't come up for damages and can't always be there with personal advice.
The tutorial may be made on and for TF101 but should work on other devices
and versions too. Be careful. You pay what you destroy!)

First get the flashable ZIP ( MD5 )from the xda-developers.com thread. Put the file on your internal or external memory of your tablet. Then boot your tablet into recovery. If you have no option in your ROM ( or if you just simply don't know where to find it...) follow this:

  1. Turn Off  and On or Reboot your Tablet
  2. Push and hold the volume down rocker while it reboots
  3. When the white text appears, hit the volume up rocker
You should be in the recovery mode now. Here you go:

  1. Chose "INSTALL"
  2. Navigate to the folder where you have put the flashable TWRP 2.6.0.3-13 file and chose it
  3. Swipe to install the flashable Zip
  4. (To be sure you could clean your Dalvik - I don't...)
  5. Go to the homescreen of your current TWRP and chose "REBOOT"
  6. Chose "SYSTEM"
Congratulations! You should by now have the new TWRP 2.6.3.0-13 installed on your Asus eeePad Transformer TF101. My ROM suggestion to it would be wether the stable 4.3.1 #29 JB ROM from Timduru or the 4.4.2 KitKat KatKiss Rom from Timduru.
